Allyson Felix

Allyson Nicole Felix was born on the 18th of November, 1985, in Los Angeles. The father of her Paul Felix was an ordained minister at the Master's Seminary in Sun Valley and their mother Marlean Felix was a school teacher at Balboa Magnet Elementary School. Felix displayed an early talent for sports when she was in high school at Los Angeles Baptist High School. Her sprinting ability at the at the time. Within a short time after her first race, Felix placed 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. In 2003 Felix completed her high school graduation and signed a professional deal with the company that makes sports Adidas before enrolling at the University of Southern California where she completed her elementary education. Felix's first Olympic medal came at the 2004 Summer Olympics held which took place in Athens Greece. Felix set an international junior record the 200m race in 22.18 secs. In 2005, she became the youngest 200-meter world champion during the Helsinki World Championships. She won the title again in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at the Olympics during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro as well as Tokyo always finishing in the top three of her races.
