Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix's ability to compete in athletics was evident from the moment she began attending Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships after only 10 weeks, after her first attempt. Felix signed a contract for an official career at Adidas in 2003, and later enrolled in University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. The first Olympic medal came during the 2004 Summer Olympics, in Athens Greece. Felix set a world junior record for running 200m in 22.18 seconds. She was the youngest 200-meter world champion at the Helsinki World Championships. She was able to defend her title in 2007, defeating her long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix was a regular competitor in Beijing, London Rio de Janeiro, and Tokyo. She always finished at the top of the podium in the events.
